The variety possesses high yield potential. The average yield during state trials was 2.75 t/ha, with a recorded maximum of 4.63 t/ha under the conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine.

The variety was developed within the framework of a breeding program for grain legumes with increased resistance to arid conditions and improved grain quality. The purpose of the variety corresponds to the traditional use of the crop as a source of plant protein for food and feed purposes.
