The Atlas family includes various breeding lines used in the second half of the 20th century, in particular Atlas 66, created from a cross between lines Atlas 261 and Atlas 352, and Atlas 67, derived from Atlas 352 selections. The variety All-Tex Atlas, registered in 1993, is also mentioned.

In scientific literature and databases, Atlas appears more often as a genetic pool or part of a pedigree for creating new varieties rather than as a mass-market product with fixed agronomic characteristics. Detailed descriptions of plant height or disease resistance for this family are absent from open reference sources.
