This hybrid was developed for commercial cultivation with the aim of combining the adaptability and productivity of the G. hirsutum species (Acala variety type) with the fiber quality indicators of the G. barbadense species (Pima variety type). In agronomic studies, the variety is classified as high-yielding.

In specialized literature, the hybrid is often considered within a group of Israeli interspecific hybrids possessing similar properties. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and indicators of resistance to specific pathogens are represented to a limited extent in open sources.
