Plants sold under this name are small succulents 5 to 15 cm tall, forming rosettes of triangular leaves. A distinctive feature of the form is the presence of bright white stripes or tubercles on the leaf surface.

This designation is used primarily in trade to distinguish plants with a specific coloration. In botanical publications, information about "Albino" as a separate variety with fixed economic traits is absent. In practice, various species of the genus Haworthiopsis, including Haworthiopsis attenuata, may be offered under this name.
