Variety description

10 August 2026

The Cape Town variety is a succulent that forms rosettes, which eventually develop into clusters. The plant reaches a height of about 13 cm and is distinguished by the presence of white contrasting tubercles on the upper and lower sides of the leaves.

The plant has a well-developed root system and is characterized by a relatively high growth rate. The variety is considered hardy, however, it is sensitive to waterlogging, which can lead to the development of root rot.

Cultivation requires bright, indirect light and well-drained soil. The plant is used primarily as an ornamental pot crop and is propagated by separating daughter rosettes.
