The line was obtained by the method of embryo culture of immature zygotic embryos using ultrasonic exposure on polycross populations. It possesses good combining ability and is intended for use in hybridization; in particular, it served as a parent component of the Yana hybrid.
Work on the creation of such lines is aimed at obtaining plants with an increased oil content and complex resistance to diseases, including downy mildew, phomopsis, septoria, as well as to the parasite broomrape.
