The hybrid was developed as part of breeding programs in the 1970s and was used in experimental studies as a prototype. It was intended for studying the feasibility of growing sunflowers in European conditions and for conducting breeding work.
During the studies using this form, the dynamics of seed and head moisture, thousand kernel weight, oil and protein content, fatty acid composition, and the features of nutrient uptake by plants at a young age were analyzed.
