The line was obtained by the backcrossing method based on genetic material from Pioneer. It belongs to the late category in terms of flowering time and is characterized by low plant height. In official descriptions, resistance to diseases and pests is not stated.
The plants have light green leaves with weak blistering, a capitulum facing half-downward at maturity, and a straight stem. Ray florets are medium yellow, the disc is orange, and the pollen is yellow. Seeds are gray, wide, ovate in shape, and thin.
This line possesses resistance to imidazolinones. A sterile analogue of the line was obtained using CMS PET1 cytoplasm.
