The line is homozygous for the dominant fertility restoration of CMS PET 1 cytoplasm. It was obtained by the pedigree method based on crossing three proprietary lines: 7PKVL42R*3, F0998LM, and 7PNHZ36R.
During the breeding process, selection was carried out according to the criteria of early flowering, reduced plant height, prolonged green leaf retention, as well as high oil and oleic acid content. This line is not a variety for commercial sowing.
Hybrids created on the basis of this line are adapted for cultivation in the Northern Plains regions of the USA, as well as in Central, Eastern, and Western Europe. No official data on the line's resistance to diseases and pests have been declared.
