The object is a fertility restorer line, part of an international test set for determining the virulence of the pathogen Plasmopara halstedii. In agronomic terms, this line is not a commercial variety for mass cultivation.
The main characteristic of the line is the presence of the resistance gene Pl21. It is used in genetic research, particularly for mapping resistance genes to downy mildew.
