The Argo IMI hybrid is a plant of the mid-late maturity group with a tall stem and a large-sized head. The achenes have a medium-high mass, and the oil content is characterized as good.
The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew, Phomopsis, Phoma, and Orobanche races F, while having medium resistance to Sclerotinia and lodging. The hybrid exhibits resistance to imidazolinone herbicides.
It is recommended to carry out early or mid-early sowing. The optimal seeding rate is 6–6.5 seeds per one square meter.
