The variety was developed by the method of individual selection from mid-ripening lines. The plant stem height is 160–200 cm. The seeds have a dark color and a shell.
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to a complex of broomrape races, is tolerant to downy mildew, is not affected by rust, verticillosis, or the sunflower moth, and is also tolerant to drought.
Seed oil content is 49–52%, thousand kernel weight is 85–90 g. Seed yield reaches 2.5–3.2 t/ha.
