The hybrid is characterized as one of the most early-maturing. Due to this feature, it was intended for cultivation in cool, 'marginal' regions of crop production.

An important agronomic characteristic of the hybrid is its resistance to the most common races of sunflower downy mildew (Plasmopara halstedii) in Europe.
