The plant possesses high resistance to lodging, drought, and heat, and also demonstrates high early growth vigor. The hybrid is resistant to seven races of broomrape (A–G) and is tolerant to such diseases as downy mildew, rust, phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, and verticillium wilt.
