The heads are convex in shape, 21–25 cm in diameter, and semi-pendant. The achenes are black, oblong, with a thousand kernel weight of 60–70 g. The root system is powerful and branched, ensuring moisture absorption from a depth of up to 2.5 m.
The oil content in the seeds varies from 48 to 52%, and the hull content is 21–23%. The hybrid possesses high tolerance to Phomopsis, Phoma, and rust, and is genetically resistant to charcoal rot, sunflower moth, and five races of broomrape (A–E). The plant is characterized by high resistance to drought, lodging, and shedding.
