The hybrid was developed by specialists at the University of Udine. The main characteristic of the variety is the high content of oleic acid in the oil composition, which determines its use as a raw material for the production of biodiesel fuel.
High-oleic hybrids of this group may exhibit susceptibility to downy mildew. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and data on lodging resistance are absent in open sources.
