The Ha-Ol 9 line is genetic material used in breeding to improve oil quality. The primary value of the line is the high oleic acid content in the seed oil and an extremely low level of linoleic acid.
The oil of this line contains from 73 to 86% oleic acid, while precise indicators for plant height, maturity groups, or disease resistance are not provided in scientific publications. The line is not a variety for mass commercial production.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
More 1 record protections in other jurisdictions are shown on the map above.
