The line was obtained as a result of selection from the Peredovik 301 sample. In breeding practice, it is used as a maintainer line, a test sample when creating forms with cytoplasmic male sterility, and a basis for crosses.
According to its characteristics, the line is classified as susceptible to downy mildew and rust, while possessing resistance to Verticillium wilt. It also serves as an object for studying the density of glandular trichomes on inflorescences, which is significant for assessing resistance to pests.
