The vegetation period of the hybrid is 100–105 days with a plant height of about 180 cm. Plants do not lodge during ripening, and seeds do not shed from the heads. Seed oil content reaches 50%.
The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to diseases and infestation by seven races of broomrape (A–G). The crop is adapted to the conditions of the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones, and possesses tolerance to atmospheric and soil drought.
The plant is resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides using "Granstar" technology. The cold hardiness of the hybrid allows for early sowing at lower soil temperatures.
