The IN 5543 IMI hybrid is intended for the Clearfield production system. The plant reaches a height of 165–175 cm, the maturity group is characterized as mid-early.
The oil content in the grain is 48–50%, the product is used to produce oil with a low oleic acid content. The hybrid possesses high resistance to drought and imidazolinone group herbicides, the potential yield is from 2.5 to 4.5 t/ha.
