The object is a specialized breeding line developed for use in hybrid development programs. The main purpose of the line is to serve as a donor of resistance genes to broomrape (Orobanche cumana) and to participate in interspecific crosses with wild sunflower species.
The line is not a commercial variety intended for commodity production; therefore, standard agronomic characteristics such as maturity group or yield are absent. Scientific data are limited to the results of laboratory studies on oil content, thousand kernel weight, and resistance to parasites.
