Variety description

10 August 2026

Line OA 723 is a sterile version of the pollinator line OB724 and is intended for use in sunflower hybridization programs. This material is not a commercial variety for commodity production; therefore, agronomic characteristics of the plant are not provided in open sources.

During the selection process, work was conducted to improve the plant type, seed weight, as well as oil and oleic acid content. The line was recognized as stable and uniform in its traits over 9 generations.
