The Olnil hybrid was used as an object in scientific research, in particular, in experiments to study the accumulation of pesticides in plant tissues. In official registers of varieties and breeding achievements, it appears under the alternative code designation XF 424 HO.
The purpose of the variety is agricultural production. The HO marking in the breeding number code indicates the high-oleic orientation of the hybrid, however, detailed agronomic characteristics, such as plant height, yield indicators and disease resistance, are not presented in open data.
