The breeding line is a pollen fertility restorer. It is characterized by a high oleic acid content, reaching 89.7%, and genetic resistance to the 770 race of downy mildew.

The flower head at the maturity stage has a semi-pendent position. The seeds are black with gray stripes. The line lacks anthocyanin coloration on the stigma.
