The line was obtained by backcrossing and pedigree methods based on lines U01P6LM and B0642LM. It is homozygous for the dominant fertility restoration trait for CMS PET 1 cytoplasmic male sterility.
The plant possesses resistance to Express group herbicides. Morphologically, it is characterized by yellow pollen color and a convex head shape; seeds have an oblong shape with a curved cross-section.
This genetic material is not intended for direct sowing as a commercial variety. Hybrids created with the participation of this line are adapted for cultivation in the Northern Plains regions of the USA, as well as in Central, Eastern, and Western Europe.
