The hybrid belongs to the simple hybrid type and is intended for cultivation using the DuPont ExpressSun system. The plants possess genetic resistance to the effects of tribenuron-methyl, which allows for post-emergence herbicide treatment of crops for the control of broad-leaved weeds.
The plant is characterized by resistance to lodging and shattering, and is also a good self-pollinator. The hybrid possesses tolerance to common sunflower diseases and resistance to broomrape races A–E.
