The hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a vegetation period of 110–115 days. The plant reaches a height of 175–180 cm and forms heads with a diameter of 20–23 cm with a 45° inclination. The yield potential is up to 5.5 t/ha.
Rapid possesses resistance to 7 races of broomrape (A–G) and new races of downy mildew, and is also tolerant to phomopsis and white rot. It is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and drought conditions. The cultivation technology allows for the use of herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl with an application rate of up to 50 g/ha.
