Sunflower Ratnyk (Ratnyk F1) is a medium-tall plant belonging to the mid-early maturity group. The hybrid is intended for cultivation using intensive technologies that allow for the control of dicotyledonous weeds through the use of tribenuron-methyl.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to Orobanche cumana races A–G and high resistance to seed shattering. The hybrid is used for oilseed production; there are also reports of its potential use in the confectionery sector.
