The SKh 1008 A line is used for breeding purposes to create new sunflower hybrids. It is not an independent variety for commercial sowing but is considered genetic material.

The plant possesses pronounced resistance to downy mildew. When using this line in breeding, hybrids show high yield, an increased thousand kernel weight reaching 58.6 g, and high oil content in the seeds.
