The hybrid was created at the Institute of Oilseed Crops of the NAAS of Ukraine under the leadership of Oleksandr Mykolaiovych Riabota. The method of cytoplasmic male sterility was used in the breeding process.
The morphological characteristics of the hybrid include the presence of a lemon-colored ligulate flower gene, which was used as a marker in the study of paternal forms. For research purposes, it was considered in the context of symbiosis with endomycorrhizal fungi.
