The plant forms a compact cushion-shaped bush 20 to 30 cm in height and up to 41 cm in width. The leaves are narrow, silvery-gray in color, and covered with pubescence. The buds have a bright red color, turning into star-shaped white flowers with a yellow center upon blooming.
The variety is intended for cultivation in borders, rock gardens, and containers, flowering during the spring-summer period. The plant is drought-tolerant and prefers sunny areas with good drainage. It belongs to USDA hardiness zones 8–10 and requires protection from winter waterlogging.
