The variety is intended for landscape use. As an early-flowering plant, it retains the characteristics typical of the species Helleborus niger, although exact flowering times may vary depending on the climate.

The plant is a perennial herbaceous species with palmately dissected evergreen leaves and large white flowers. Cultivation requires well-drained, humus-rich soils and partial shade sites; the variety is sensitive to waterlogging.
