Variety description

The variety forms flowers that rise above the foliage and reaches a height of about 20–25 cm when grown in pot culture. In the European tradition, the plant is known as the "Christmas rose" due to its flowering period starting in late autumn or early winter.

Used as a decorative perennial for the garden or a potted plant. Like all members of the genus Helleborus, this variety is a toxic plant.
