The plant forms dense clumps 20 to 50 cm high; during flowering, peduncles can reach 60 cm. Leaves are semi-evergreen or evergreen, rounded in shape, with 5–7 weakly defined lobes, wavy and serrated edges.
Flowers are small, reddish in hue, collected in delicate paniculate inflorescences. The flowering period occurs in June–July. The variety belongs to hardiness zones 4–9, prefers fertile, moderately moist, and well-drained soils, and can grow in sun or partial shade.
The variety is used in group plantings, borders, rock gardens, and container gardening. It is also used as a model object in research on in vitro clonal micropropagation.
