The variety is a large herbaceous perennial with a bushy growth habit and a large number of rosettes. The bush height reaches 45–50 cm. The foliage is large, wavy, and colored in purple-black or black tones. In regions with a mild climate, the plant retains its foliage during the winter period.
Flowering occurs from July to September, during which the plant forms upright flower stalks with small light pink flowers. The variety is adapted to various light conditions, tolerating partial shade and full sun well, provided there is sufficient moisture. It prefers well-drained soils.
