Variety description

The plant can reach 4.00 m in height and 2.00 m in width. Unlike herbaceous forms, this variety does not die back in winter, retaining a woody stem and general structure typical of Hibiscus syriacus. The foliage resembles Hibiscus moscheutos in shape and size.
Flowering occurs from July to September. The plant has winter hardiness down to -25 ºC. Areas with full sun exposure and humus-rich, well-drained soils are preferred for cultivation. It is used in landscape design as a specimen plant, for planting in borders, and for lining alleys.
