The variety belongs to the Sonatini hybrid group, which is characterized by a compact habit and increased cold hardiness. The flower stalk height ranges from 30 to 60 cm; bulbs are smaller in size than those of classic hippeastrums. The plant's leaves are dark green with a glossy surface.

The flowers are medium-sized, about 14 cm in diameter, and have orange-red petals with a white star-shaped center and a lime-green throat. Up to 5 flowers form on a single flower stalk. Flowering typically occurs 6–10 weeks after planting the bulb; the plants are capable of re-flowering.
