The bright scarlet flowers have a diameter of 15 to 25 cm and a velvety shade. There are small tepaloid appendages on the petals. The leaves are green and strap-shaped.

The plant has sturdy flower stalks 38 to 70 cm in height. Flowering occurs 1–1.5 months after planting, most often in the spring period or in winter during forcing. The variety is characterized by resistance to Verticillium wilt.
