The variety was selected from CIMMYT genetic material and is intended for cultivation in conditions without irrigation. It is characterized by a high grain test weight, reaching 66.7 kg/hl, and good threshability indicators.
The yield of the variety exceeds that of the Athenais variety by 12%, however, it is 7% lower than the Kythraia variety and is on the same level as the Lefkonoiko variety. Resistance to major diseases is classified as acceptable.
