In scientific literature, ALF appears as a genetic accession (accession NGB 13682), which has been used to study mutations related to proanthocyanidin content and to analyze disease resistance.
The accession was used in breeding crosses, for example, for the localization of resistance genes to powdery mildew (locus MlLa) and leaf stripe (Rdg1a).
Information on maturity group, plant height, or yield of the variety in an agronomic sense is absent, as the material is intended for laboratory research.
