The variety is mid-season, the vegetation period is about 83 days. The plant reaches a height of 80–86 cm, has a two-row ear 7.5–9.5 cm long with awns 13–15 cm long. The variety has good tillering ability and medium resistance to lodging and a number of fungal diseases.
The grain is characterized by a large size with a thousand kernel weight of 45–50 g and a high test weight of 713–740 g/l. The crude protein content is 11.5–11.7%, starch — 60.1–63.0%. Due to the high extract yield (80.7%), the variety is versatile, traditionally used in brewing and as fodder.
