Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Cosmopolitan and Laureate. The plants have a short or medium stem, possessing high resistance to lodging and ear brittleness. The ear is of medium length and density, parallel in shape, with long awns.

The grain is characterized by a high specific weight, a low percentage of screenings, and a high thousand kernel weight. The variety possesses good enzymatic properties and a high extract yield, making it suitable for the malting industry.

The variety demonstrates complex resistance to diseases, including high resistance to powdery mildew and moderate resistance to net blotch. Indicators of resistance to scald and leaf rust are also present.
