The variety is a six-row spring barley with a stem of medium length. Maturation occurs a few days later than the Brage variety. Resistance to lodging is at a medium level; a slight tendency to ear breakage during over-ripening is noted.
The grain of the variety is distinguished by its large size, high protein content and high test weight. The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, while having a medium degree of susceptibility to leaf blotch and net blotch.
