The barley variety "Brovar" (also known as "Brovar odesskiy") is a spring form of the crop. In scientific studies, the variety is considered in the context of breeding work focused on improving the malting properties of the grain.
During agrotechnical trials of the variety, standard seeding rates of 4.0 million germinating seeds per hectare were used, with the application of fungicidal and herbicidal crop protection.
