The variety is a winter two-row barley with a short to medium plant habit. The ear is of medium density or dense, has a conical shape, and the awns are equal in length to the ear or longer.
The plant belongs to mid-season varieties. It has good lodging resistance, as well as high resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus, scald, and brown rust.
The variety is intended for use in the malting industry; in particular, it is recommended for cultivation in areas infested with barley yellow mosaic virus.
