The variety belongs to the group of malting barleys. A feature of the variety is the blocking of lipid-degrading enzyme activity, which ensures a low content of S-methylmethionine. These qualities contribute to increasing the flavor stability of beer during storage and reducing energy consumption in the brewing process.
