The variety belongs to the spring two-row barley group and is intended for the brewing industry. It possesses the properties of highly modified malt with reduced lipoxygenase (LOX) activity, which contributes to improved flavor stability and foam persistence.

A distinctive feature is the absence of enzymes that contribute to the formation of dimethyl sulfide and its precursors, as well as a very light malt color, not exceeding 3.8 EBC.
