The variety belongs to the spring two-row barley type and was historically classified as a standard variety of brewing quality. It has the ability to form large grain with a high ear weight, for which it has been noted in studies as a productive variety.
During long-term observations, low resistance of the variety to powdery mildew infection was recorded. Currently, the variety is mainly used for scientific purposes and is included in international genetic collections for studying genetic diversity.
