The variety was distinguished by a rather weak stem and low resistance to lodging. Under field conditions, the plant was susceptible to powdery mildew and brown rust, which required mandatory pathogen control to achieve high yield indicators.
The content of beta-glucans was studied in the grain of the variety, and the variety was also used in scientific research on the salt tolerance of barley. By 1983, the variety began to be displaced from the recommended lists due to the emergence of more promising breeding achievements.
