The variety «Kristina» was created as a result of crossing the lines Domen and Mari. It belongs to forms close to deficiens and semi-deficiens and is characterized by a reduction in the size of lateral florets in the ear.
The plant is widely used in breeding as source material for obtaining lines with changes in leaf and stem development. Information on standard production indicators, such as yield or disease resistance, is absent in the sources.
